SUP has it's roots in surfing and Hawaiian culture, and can be more easily described as 'a cross between canoeing and surfing.' But what was once strictly an ocean phenomenon has recently taken roots in formerly 'landlocked' areas - and is opening up waterways to paddlers across the world!
For many beginners, Standup Paddleboarding often looks like an impossible task - but in reality, with proper instruction, SUP has a gentle learning curve and will have you paddling with proficiency in no time! Start with our Intro to SUP Class, which covers safety and technique basics, and quickly builds a foundation that will make SUP a fun and ever challenging pastime. Then take your skills, workout and paddling technique to the next level with Private Lesson, taught by a PaddleFit Certified Instructor.
Once you've mastered the core SUP skills, it's time take your skills to an American Icon - the Mississippi River! Take a Guided Tour through the winding backwaters to uncover beaches, islands, wildlife and breathtaking views of unmatched beauty.
